In a bowl, mix 250g of flour, one packet of baking powder, one tablespoon of powdered sugar, and a pinch of salt.

Add one egg and 225ml of water (or beer or milk) to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Let the batter rest for a while.

Prepare your favorite hard cheese (Eidam 30% is used in the video) and cut it into thicker sticks.

Insert a skewer into the cheese stick, ensuring the tip does not go through the other end.

Pour the rested batter into a tall glass so that the entire cheese stick can be submerged.

Coat the cheese sticks in Panko breadcrumbs, ensuring the crust holds its shape.

Fry in hot oil at 170-180 degrees Celsius, monitoring closely to prevent burning the breadcrumbs.

After frying, let them drain on a rack before serving.
