4 cups chicken broth

2 bay leaves
1.5 cups rice
1 cup peas
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup parsley

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.

Add chicken thighs and brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
