Arroz con Maíz

3 cloves garlic

2 cups rice
1 packet Sazon Goya with saffron
1/4 cup white cooking wine (Holland House with lemon flavor)
3.5 cups chicken bouillon

Saute 1 onion, 1 bell pepper, and 3 cloves of garlic until the onion is translucent, being careful not to overcook or burn it.

Add 1 can of tomato sauce and a couple of bay leaves to the mixture and cook for about 5-6 minutes.

Add 2 cups of washed rice to the sofrito mixture.

Stir in 1 packet of Sazon Goya with saffron to color the rice yellow.

Pour in 1/4 cup of white cooking wine (Holland House with lemon flavor).

Add 3.5 cups of chicken bouillon to the rice mixture.

Mix in 1 can of sweet corn and combine everything together.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and let cook for about 20 minutes.

Check the rice; it should be fluffy and the corn should be visible.
