2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 chicken bouillon cube (Maggie brand)
1 heaping tablespoon sofrito
1/2 red onion (roughly chopped)
1 can drained corn
1 orange seasoning packet (Accent brand)
2 cups washed white rice
2.5 to 3 cups water

Heat a pot on medium high heat and add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil.

Add 1 chicken bouillon cube (Maggie brand) to the pot.

Add 1 heaping tablespoon of sofrito to the pot.

Add 1/2 of a red onion (roughly chopped) to the pot.

Add 1 can of drained corn to the pot and mix everything together.

Add 1 orange seasoning packet (Accent brand) for color and mix well.

Add 2 cups of washed white rice to the pot and mix until the rice takes on the color of the salsa.

Add 2.5 to 3 cups of water to the rice and mix everything together.

Cover the pot and cook on high heat for 8 to 10 minutes until the water absorbs.

After 8 to 10 minutes, lower the flame to low and build a rice mountain in the pot.

Cover the rice mountain with aluminum foil and cover the pot, cooking on low heat for 25 minutes.

After 25 minutes, remove the lid and aluminum foil to check the rice.

Break up the rice and give it a few turns to finish.
