Cook 250 grams of chicken in water with garlic powder, oregano, and bay leaves until cooked through.

For the rice, combine 2 cups of rice with 560 milliliters of chicken broth, 1 gram of achiote, and 2 grams of salt, adding a bit of olive oil.

Mix well to dissolve the achiote.

Add 30 grams of grated carrot, 30 grams of chopped onion, and 120 grams of fresh peas to the rice mixture.

If using fresh peas, let them cook for about 15 minutes; if using canned peas, add them directly and skip this step.

Serve the rice with refried beans and potatoes.
