Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork shoulder, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. 1Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. 2Add the diced pork shoulder to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. 3Stir in cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. 4Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 20-25 minutes until pork is tender.
  5. 5While the pork is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
  6. 6Once the pork is cooked, shred it with two forks in the skillet.
  7. 7Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of the shredded pork on each tortilla.
  8. 8Top with diced onions and chopped cilantro.
  9. 9Serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.
