Fried Ochro

2 tbsp vegetable oil
½ medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 pimento peppers, chopped
½ habanero pepper, chopped
2 cups chopped ochro
Salt to your preference

Heat oil in a pot. When heated, add onions, garlic and peppers. Fry on medium heat until translucent.

Add ochroes, saute for 3 minutes or so.

Add salt, saute for another minute.

Cover the pot and allow the steam generated to cook the ochroes until soft and brown. This usually takes about 5-7 minutes.

Remove from heat and serve either with dhal and rice or your favourite type of roti.
