Chickpea Avocado Salad

15 ounces canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed (about 1.5 cups)
1 avocado
cilantro
regular onion (instead of green onions)
lime juice (bottle)
salt
ground pepper
Dave's Killer bread
low fat, egg less mayonnaise
fresh spinach leaves

Take 15 ounces of canned chickpeas, drain and rinse them.

Mash the chickpeas with a potato masher, leaving some chunks for texture.

Slice the avocado around the pit, twist to separate, and remove the pit.

Scoop the avocado flesh into the mashed chickpeas and mash together until creamy.

Chop cilantro, leaving some stems for flavor, and add to the mixture.

Add regular onion (instead of green onions) to the mixture.

Squeeze lime juice from a bottle into the mixture, along with salt and ground pepper.

Stir the mixture well to combine all ingredients.
