250 grs Black Beans
3 Tomatoes
1 Onion
1 Bell Pepper
4 Cloves of Garlic
Bay Leaves
150 grs Chopped Smoked Bacon
Raw Cane Sugar
Salt and Pepper to Taste

Soak the beans in water for about 12 hours (overnight).

Strain them and boil them in enough water.

Add the bay leaves, cover and don't add salt.

Cook until they soften, adding more hot water if necessary while they boil.

Prepare the stir fry by adding the bacon and cooking until golden.

Chop the onion and add it to the saucepan once the bacon is golden.

Chop the garlic, bell pepper, and tomatoes, and cook on low heat.

Add the beans to the stir fry, then add the raw sugar, salt, and pepper to taste.
