Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.

Once the seeds start to splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.

Stir in garlic ginger paste and cook for a minute.

Add salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, and green slit chillies. Mix well.

Add the washed and cut mushrooms and cook until they are tender.

Stir in the grinded cashew nuts, kasoori methi, and garam masala powder. Mix everything together.

Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
