Put 3 large chicken breasts in a pot of water with a little bit of salt and bring to a boil.
Allow the chicken to boil for about 15 to 20 minutes until cooked.
Remove chicken from the pot, rinse it off, and place it in a bowl.
Shred the chicken to your desired consistency using a fork or your hands.
Season the shredded chicken with chili lime seasoning, onion powder, salt, pepper, and mix in 1.5 cups of shredded cheese and a bit of Mexican crema.
Make a glue mixture by combining a spoonful of flour with water and mixing it until smooth.
Prepare a workstation with the shredded chicken, tortillas, and the glue mixture.
Take a tortilla, place a decent amount of chicken in the center, spread a little glue on the edge, and roll it tightly, sealing the edge with the glue.
Repeat the rolling process until you have a few flautas ready for frying.
Heat oil in a pan and place the flautas seam-side down in the hot oil to seal them.
Fry the flautas for about 4 to 5 minutes, flipping them halfway through until golden brown.
Remove the flautas from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Prepare toppings by dicing avocado and slicing lettuce and tomato.
Assemble the flautas with toppings like avocado, lettuce, tomato, and drizzle with Mexican crema.
