BBQ Burger

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
4 hamburger buns
4 slices cheddar cheese
Lettuce leaves (for topping)
Tomato slices (for topping)
Pickles (for topping)

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.

Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

Place the patties on the preheated grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.

Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each one. Grill for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness.

While the burgers are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Remove the burgers and buns from the grill. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun, and topping with lettuce, tomato, and pickles.

Serve immediately with extra BBQ sauce on the side if desired.
