Place the cornmeal, water, butter, and salt in a bowl. Mix with a fork for 30 seconds or until it forms a paste. Let it rest covered for 5 minutes. Then, mix again for one more minute and form into a ball.

Press the cornball to make a hole in the dough. Add the cheese; knead with your hand for 1 more minute and divide the dough into 4. Make 4 rolls.

Place each roll on a 6 inch square of aluminum foil. Roll and press the tips well so that it is well sealed.

Pour the buns into a pot of boiling water. The water should cover the buns. Cook 20 minutes. Remove from pot, cool, slice, and serve.
