2 teaspoons butter
1 cup evaporated milk
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic
1/4 onion, chopped
salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder

Peel and chop the chayote.

Heat a pot and add 2 teaspoons of olive oil and 2 teaspoons of butter.

Add the chopped onion and 2 cloves of garlic to the pot and sauté until translucent.

Add the chopped chayote to the pot and mix well.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of chicken bouillon powder and mix again.

Cover and cook on medium heat for about 15-20 minutes until the chayote is soft.

Turn off the heat and let it cool for about 5 minutes.

Transfer the chayote mixture to a blender along with its cooking liquid.

Add 1 cup of evaporated milk to the blender and blend until smooth.

Return the blended mixture to the pot and cook on medium heat for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until it boils.
