500 gms all purpose flour (maida)
3/4 cup peanut oil
3 tbsp butter
1 cup water
2 tbsp black pepper powder
2 tsp white chilly powder
2 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
1/2 lemon
1 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
1/2 tsp baking soda
oil to fry

In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, black pepper powder, white chilly powder, roasted cumin seeds powder, turmeric powder, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the peanut oil and butter to the flour mixture and mix well until crumbly.

Slowly add water (3/4 cup + 1/4 cup) to form a dough, kneading until smooth.

Cover the dough and let it rest for a while.

Roll out the dough into thin sheets and cut into desired shapes.

Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry the rolled pieces until golden brown and crispy.

Serve hot with lemon juice and aamras.
