Cut the Serrano and jalapeno peppers in half and scoop out the seeds.

Slice the red onion as thin as possible.

Cut the limes in half and squeeze the juice over the sliced onion.

Blend the tamarillos and peppers, adding a bit of water to help the mixture blend.

Add about a quarter cup of olive oil, salt, and blend until smooth.

Chop the cilantro and add it to the mixture, if desired.
