Red Snapper En Papillote

Cultural Context

Originating from the French culinary tradition, En Papillote is a method of cooking food in a sealed pouch, allowing it to steam in its own juices. This technique enhances the natural flavors of the ingredients while keeping them moist. Red snapper, a prized fish, is often used for its delicate texture and mild flavor. Today, this dish is popular in various cuisines, celebrated for its healthy preparation and elegant presentation.
