Pre-wash the various types of lettuce including green leaf, red leaf, kale flowers, basil, Boston lettuce, red chicory, endive, and perilla leaves.

Measure out 1 tablespoon of hot pepper paste (gochujang) and set aside.

Measure out 1/4 cup of doenjang (Korean fermented soybean paste) and set aside.

Select a Honeycrisp apple (or Royal Gala or Fuji) and chop it into small pieces.

Smash and chop 2 garlic cloves and add them to the mixing bowl.

Chop 2 green onions and add them to the mixing bowl with the garlic.

Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil to the mixture and mix well.

Add around 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds to the mixture and continue mixing until juicy.
