zucchini (summer squash or courgette) – 1.1 lb | 500 g
scallion – 3 tbsp | 15 g
garlic – 2 cloves
sesame oil – 2 tbsp
roasted sesame seeds – 1.5 tbsp
salt – 2 tbsp
sugar – 1 tbsp
ground black pepper – 1 tsp
red chilli flakes – 1 tbsp
cooking oil – 1 tbsp

Cut the zucchini into half rings, add 2 tbsp of salt and leave for 15 minutes.

Chop up the scallion and garlic.

Rinse the zucchini and squeeze lightly.

Heat a pan, add 1 tbsp of cooking oil and lay out the zucchini.

Add the scallion, garlic, sugar, black and red peppers, sesame oil, stir and fry over medium heat for 3 minutes.

Add the sesame seeds and fry for 2 minutes more.
