Milk 2 cups
Sugar ¼ cup
Cardamom powder a pinch
Vanilla custard powder 1 tsp
Water 2 tbsp
Basil seeds (tukh malanga) 2 tsp
Water ¼ cup
Ice cubes as required
Dry fruits chopped as required

Soak basil seeds in ¼ cup water for about 15 minutes until they swell up.

In a bowl, mix 1 tsp vanilla custard powder with 2 tbsp water to make a smooth paste.

In a saucepan, heat 2 cups of milk and add ¼ cup sugar and a pinch of cardamom powder. Stir well until the sugar dissolves.

Once the milk starts to boil, add the custard paste and stir continuously to avoid lumps. Cook until the mixture thickens slightly.

Remove from heat and let it cool down.

In serving glasses, add ice cubes, soaked basil seeds, and pour the rabri milk over them.

Top with chopped dry fruits as desired.
