For this Colombian fruit salad, I will use papaya, melon, ripe banana, apple, and strawberries.
Since the papaya is large, I will use only half of it. I will cut the papaya into cubes.
For the melon, I will also use only half. I will remove the seeds and cut the melon into cubes.
You can use as much fruit as you need.
I need to remove the seeds from the apple and for the strawberries, I will remove the green part.
I will wash them very well and let them soak in water with a little vinegar for about 10 minutes.
Here I have all the chopped fruit, and I will mix it together.
I will serve it in a plastic container.
Then I will add cream, grated queso campesino, and ice cream. You can choose the flavor of ice cream you prefer; I chose rum raisin.
I will garnish it with a little blackberry sauce, some cherries, and larger pieces of apple.
I will also add some wafer cookies.
