1 Cup Basmati Rice
2 Cup Water
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Tsp Cumin Seed
1 Tbsp. Ginger
½ Onion
½ Tsp Salt to Taste
½ Tsp Black Pepper
½ Tsp Garam Masala
½ Tsp Red Chili Powder
1 Can Black Beans | 15 oz. | 425 grams
1 Tsp Kasoori Methi

Heat olive oil in a pan.

Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.

Add chopped onion and ginger, sauté until translucent.

Stir in the basmati rice and cook for a couple of minutes.

Add water, salt, black pepper, garam masala, red chili powder, and black beans.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover to simmer until rice is cooked.

Stir in kasoori methi before serving.
