Creamy Italian Sausage Pasta

1 lb italian sausage
4 cups penne pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup red bell pepper (diced)
1 small onion (diced)
3 large garlic cloves (minced)
2 cups fresh spinach (chopped)
1/4 cup parmesan cheese (shredded)
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add diced onion and red bell pepper, sauté until softened.

Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

Add italian sausage to the pan, breaking it apart and cooking until browned.

Stir in the dry penne pasta, chicken broth, and heavy cream.
