Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Stir in minced garlic and diced jalapeño; cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add cooked beans to the skillet along with some cooking liquid.
Mash the beans with a potato masher until desired consistency is reached.
Stir in cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to taste.
Add lime juice and chopped cilantro; mix well.
Cook for an additional 5 minutes to heat through.
Adjust seasoning if necessary before serving.
