Leave the tender stems on the cilantro and set aside.

Chop the green onions roughly and set aside.

Cut the flesh off the jalapeño, leaving the seeds in.

Add the diced tomatillos, jalapeño, cilantro, green onions, oregano, cumin, garlic, lime juice, and salt to the food processor.

Start by adding 1/2 cup of water to the food processor.

Blend the mixture for a few seconds, adjusting the texture to your preference (chunky or smooth).

Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or lime juice as needed.
