Boil 1 and a half cups of water in a pot.

Open a bag of frozen fire roasted corn and use half of it, which is 8 ounces.

Add the corn to the boiling water and cover to simmer for 5 to 6 minutes.

Strain the corn to remove the water after simmering.

Add butter to the hot corn and mix until melted.

Add half a teaspoon of salt and mix well.

Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper or red chili powder over the corn and mix to distribute evenly.

Squeeze the juice of half a lime over the corn and mix quickly to combine while the corn is hot.
