Add 3/4 cup of water to a bowl.
Dissolve 15 grams of dry yeast in the water.
Add 5 grams of sugar to the mixture.
In a separate bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, 5 grams of salt, and 28 grams of butter.
Mix the yeast mixture into the flour mixture until well combined.
Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 30-40 minutes.
After resting, divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and shape them into round balls.
Flatten each ball into a disc shape.
Use your fingers to create a bowl shape in the center of each disc.
Prepare the filling by mixing 225 grams of cream cheese with chopped jalapeño, a pinch of pepper, and garlic powder.
Divide the cream cheese mixture into 6 portions and place one portion in the center of each dough disc.
Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to enclose it completely.
Let the filled dough rest for another 30 minutes until slightly puffed up.
Preheat the oven to 380°F (220°C).
Bake the filled dough for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and brush with melted butter while hot.
