Start by heating 3 liters of water in a large pot.

Once the water is hot, add 3 pounds of chicken breast and thighs, along with 5 garlic cloves and 1/2 onion.

Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the pot.

Cover and let the chicken cook for 40 minutes on medium heat.

While the chicken cooks, prepare the chilies by cutting off the stems and rinsing them.

Add the chilies to the pot of water to cook for about 5-6 minutes.

Also rinse 1 pound of green tomatillos and add them to the pot.

After 5-6 minutes, turn off the heat for the tomatillos and chilies.

In a large bowl, add 6 cups of corn flour and 1 tablespoon of salt.

Add the shredded chicken to the bowl along with 8 cups of chicken broth.

Mix well until combined, then add 1 tablespoon of baking powder and 1 cup of butter.
