Tis the season for Oktoberfest celebrations! Elevate your good ole traditional pig in a blanket using bratwurst and wait for it... bacon, wrapped up in some Pillsbury dough and you’ve got yourself the perfect seasonal appetizer! Don’t forget the Mustard Dipping Sauce! Oktoberfest Brats w/ Mustard Dipping Sauce Ingredients: For brats: 1 package bratwurst (our pack had 5 pieces) 5 slices of Applewood Sliced Bacon, regular cut 1 package of Pillsbury French Bread dough Mustard Dipping Sauce: 1/4 c mayonnaise 1 tbsp dijon mustard 2 tbsp chipotle sauce 1 lemon, juiced 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll out your french bread dough. Wrap one piece of bacon around one brat. Slice dough using a pizza cutter and wrap brat in an appropriate sized piece of dough to cover and pinch to seal. Repeat to wrap all of your brats. Place them on a foil lined baking tray sprayed with non-stick spray, seam side down. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray. Bake for 20 minutes, turn your pan and bake for another 20 minutes until golden brown. Slice into bite size slices and top with a little dipping sauce (see below). Add all mustard dipping sauce ingredients to your Nutribullet or blender and blend until you have a creamy consistency.
