Just in time for the long weekend learn to make this delicious Chilaquiles Style Nacho Recipe! Ingredients: 2 tablespoons of neutral oil 1 onion diced 1 teaspoon each: cumin, chili powder 1 pound of medium ground beef 4 cups of Casa Bonita Cantina Style Tortilla Chips 1 cup Casa Bonita Fire Roasted Habanero Salsa 1 cup of stock or water 2-4 cups of shredded cheese: marble, Monterey Jack, mild cheddar (whatever you like) 1 jalapeno pepper de-seeded and thinly sliced 1⁄2 purple onion thinly sliced 1⁄2 - 1 cup of minced cilantro Optional: Sour Cream, hot sauce, more salsa Directions: Step 1: Heat oil in the bottom of the pan and set the temperature to medium low. Add the onions. Give a quick sprinkle of salt and sautée for a few minutes. Add the cumin and chili powder. Step 2: Stir in the ground beef and cook until cooked through (there won’t be any pink). Set aside. Step 3: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Step 4: Add salsa and stock into the same flying pan (no need to clean it). Heat until it is bubbling. Toss the chips and give them a good coating. Step 5: Lay the chips on a parchment/silicone lined rimmed baking sheet. Evenly sprinkle the meat over the chips and then cover with cheese evenly. Step 6: Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling. Step 7: Top with jalapenos, cilantro and more salsa if you want.
