Can of Sliced Mushrooms • ½ of a Large White Onion • 2 TBSP of Butter • 2 TBSP of All Purpose Flour • 1 TBSP of Minced Garlic • Morton's Kosher Salt - To Tenderize the Chops • Coarse Black Pepper to Taste • Garlic Powder to Taste • Parsley Flakes • Oil for the Pan 👉Cooking Instructions: • In an oiled cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, sear the pork chops on each side for 1-2 minutes or until a desired crust has formed and they reach an internal temperature of 145°F–155°F. Remove the chops from the pan, put them on a plate, and let them rest for at least 5 minutes. While the chops are resting using the same pan, set the burner temperature to medium and add the sliced onions and cook them until they are a little translucent; add the minced garlic and give it a stir; add the sliced mushrooms and give them a stir; add in the butter and give it a light stir; add in the all-purpose flour and mix it in well but gently; add in the beef broth or stock a little at a time, stirring gently until the gravy reduces down some when the gravy thickens; reduce the burner temperature to low; add the pork chops back in and spoon some of the mushroom gravy on top of the chops.
