Video Description

Lunch Box Sandwich Spread was a mayo/pickle relish/sweet peppers spread made back in the 40s/50s and beyond. Some old advertising label it as being a Safeway product. Today we're recreating the old jar label sticker and making our own chunky mayo relish spread. As well as making a recipe "tailor made for youngsters". SHARING! :) Can't give exact-ish amounts for the spread but I used: 12 oz mayonnaise Mt. Olive Sweet Salad Cubes Mancini Sweet Roasted peppers 1/8 tsp crushed red peppers 1/4 tsp parsley flakes 1/4 tsp oregano leaves 1/8 tsp garlic powder 2/3 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp Lipton onion mix powder 2/3 tsp minced onion 3/4 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp salt Summer Sandwich (tailor-made for youngsters) 1. Spread - on one slice of white bread with Lunch Box Spread; top with lettuce leaf 2. Place - an ample amount of strawberry jam on another slice of bread. 3. Combine - slices for sandwich. (Lunch Box Spread is a tasty filling all by itself, too. Try it!) Music Getz Me to Brazil Doug Maxwell/Media Right productions Dreamland The 126ers #ikuraprime
