Ingredients
- ●500g minced meat (lamb or beef)
- ●1 medium onion, finely chopped
- ●2 cloves garlic, minced
- ●1 inch ginger, grated
- ●2 green chilies, finely chopped
- ●1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- ●1/2 tsp garam masala
- ●1/2 tsp cumin powder
- ●1/2 tsp coriander powder
- ●1/2 tsp red chili powder
- ●1/2 tsp salt
- ●1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- ●1 egg, beaten
- ●Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- 1In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced meat, chopped onion, garlic, ginger, green chilies, and coriander leaves.
- 2Add the garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt to the mixture. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- 3Add the breadcrumbs and beaten egg to the mixture. This will help bind the kebabs together. Mix until well incorporated.
- 4Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer, forming a long kebab shape.
- 5Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- 6Place the skewers on the grill or in the oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kebabs are cooked through and have a nice char.
- 7Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the skewers and serve hot with mint chutney and sliced onions.
- 8Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh coriander if desired.
