Video Description

In today’s video, I’m showing you how to make Indian-style Korean Fried Chicken with a spicy, crispy twist using Gochujang (Korean chili paste) and Indian spices. It’s the perfect fusion of flavors — bold, crunchy, and absolutely irresistible! If you're a fan of Korean food but want it with Indian flavors, this one's for you 💥🍗 For the Chicken: 400g chicken thign/ wings or drumettes 2-3 tbsp rice vinegar 1 tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper 1 tbsp grated ginger 1 cup cornstarch Oil for deep frying (neutral oil like canola or vegetable) For the Sauce: 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chili paste) 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1 tbsp sugar 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 tsp sesame oil (optional) 1 tbsp water (to loosen if needed) Optional Garnish: Toasted sesame seeds Thinly sliced green onions 🍽️ Instructions 1. Prep the Chicken: Pat chicken pieces dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, and grated ginger. Let sit for 4 hours or overnight. if you want instant then set for 10-15 min. Coat chicken evenly in a 1:1 mix of cornstarch and flour. Shake off excess. 2. Double Fry for Maximum Crisp: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken in batches for 6–8 minutes until light golden. Remove and rest on a wire rack or paper towels. Raise oil to 375°F (180°C) and fry chicken a second time for 2–3 minutes until deeply golden and very crispy. 3. Make the Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine all sauce ingredients. Simmer for 1-3 minutes, stirring often, until thick and sticky. 4. Coat the Chicken: Toss the hot, crispy chicken in the sauce just before serving to keep it crispy. 5. Garnish & Serve: Top with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot with pickled radish and a cold soda. 🍽️ Why You’ll Love This Recipe: Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside Bold Korean flavors + Indian masala Perfect for parties, dinner, or a weekend treat 📺 More Korean-Desi Fusion Recipes You’ll Love: ▶️ Indian Style Tteokbokki – https://youtu.be/zW39lvr1SzU ▶️ Veg Korean Ramyeon Hack – https://youtu.be/PMpChheOV0Q ▶️ Paneer Kimbap Recipe – https://youtu.be/zTbfQx6Lvsw ▶️ Coconut Curry Ramen – https://youtu.be/[your-curry-video-link] 💬 Comment Below: Have you tried Korean Fried Chicken before?
