Instructions

  1. 1Press tofu to remove excess moisture for 15-20 minutes.
  2. 2Cut tofu into cubes and marinate in yogurt, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, ginger, and garlic for at least 30 minutes.
  3. 3Preheat grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  4. 4Skewer marinated tofu cubes and grill until charred, about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.
  5. 5Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  6. 6Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. 7Stir in tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes until thickened.
  8. 8Add grilled tofu to the sauce and mix well.
  9. 9Pour in cream and simmer for 5-10 minutes to meld flavors.
  10. 10Finish with lemon juice and chopped cilantro before serving.
