It is one of best Puri Recipe with chana dal or cholar dal. Also it is very easy breakfast food. Ingredients of Dal Puri: 1. Maida / All Purpose Flour (2 Cup) 2. Cholar Dal / Split Bengal Gram (100 gm) 3. Garam Masala Powder 4. Cumin Seeds 5. Dry Red Chilli 6. Ginger paste 7. Coriander Seeds 8. Hing / Asafoetida 9. Salt 10. Refined Oil Methods of how to make Dal Puri: 1. At first to make the dough add Salt as per taste, 3 tbsp. Refined Oil in the maida. Mix well. 2. Make a smooth dough, neither too soft or too hard. 3. After mixing add water slowly and mix well to make the dough. 4. Then cover and let it rest for 20-25 mins. 5. Make a smooth paste of the boiled Split Bengal Gram in a blender. 6. Then heat up a kadai and add Dry Chilli. 7. Fry little bit and add 1 tsp Whole Cumin, 1 tsp Whole Coriander. Fry them for a while. 8. Now grind to make a powder. 9. Now heat up a kadai and add 2 tbsp. Refined Oil. 10. Add 2 pinch Asafoetida/Hing. 11. When you get a nice aroma turn the flame to low and add the Lentil Paste. 12. Add 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder, 1/2 tsp Ginger Paste, 1/2 tsp Roasted Masala, 1/4 tsp Salt (as per taste). Fry on medium flame till it becomes completely dry. 13. When it forms a dough like shape then it is ready. 14. The stuffing is ready and cut out small balls from the dough. 15. Make a bowl like shape with your thumbs and add the stuffing. 16. Seal the edges properly like this and roll with your hands. 17. Brush oil in your rolling pin and board and roll them out. 18. Heat up oil in a kadai and add the Dal Puri slowly. Fry well and take them out. 19. Serve them hot. 20. Our today's recipe Dal Puri is ready.
