Laotian beef jerky can be made in many variations including seen hang (regular dried jerky) seen lod (small stripes), seen savanh-thin slice(heavenly beef). Lightly fried, grill or bake before serving. They are full of flavors. Traditionally served with sticky rice, Lao spicy sauces(jeow), papaya salad or good snacks for beer. It is easy to make but it will take hours for drying. It’s super easy to dry in food dehydrator if you don’t have one. You can dry it in the oven or put it under the sun. Heavenly beef jerky/Seen savanh Tasty with caramelized sugar 1 Lb Lean beef or pork-thin sliced 453g 5 Tbsp sugar 2 Tbsp soy sauce 1 Tbsp oyster sauce 1 Tsp black pepper 1/2 Tsp salt 1/2 Tsp ginger powder 1/2 Tsp garlic powder 1 Tbsp sesame seeds-optional Beef jerky/Seen lod Savory 1 Lb beef or pork-cut into 1/2” thick 4” long 453g 1 Tbsp sugar 1/2 Tsp salt 3 Tbsp oyster sauce 2 Tbsp soy sauce 1/2 Tsp black pepper 1/2 Tsp garlic powder 1 Tsp msg or chicken bouillon
