This tamarind rasam is a spicy, tangy soup made from very little lentil and lots of tamarind. Rasam can be made in various ways, but this is one of my favorites. You can leave out the dal/lentils completely to made an almost 0 carb version. Give this a try and let me know how you like it. Macros: 4 Servings Each serving Calories: 93 gm Fats: 8 gm Carbs Net: 5 gm Protein: 2 gm Ingredients: 2 Tbsp Toor dal/lentil 1/2 tsp Turmeric Pdr. 1/2 tsp Salt Or to taste Pinch of Hing (optional) 8-9 Tiny Garlic cloves 1 Tbsp Black Pepper 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds 1/4 Cup Tamrind water
