Video Description
The Cynar Julep is apparently the julep of choice in Buenos Aires and this particular recipe comes from Argentinian bartender Renato "Tato" Giovannoni of Florerèa Atlántico. The soft vegetal bitterness of Cynar works remarkably well with grapefruit and fresh mint. Try substituting the grapefruit soda for freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and soda water. - BUY THE BACKBAR: http://bit.ly/buy-a-bottle - PATREON: https://bit.ly/stb-patreon INGREDIENTS - 60mL Cynar (2 oz) - 15mL Fresh Lemon Juice (0.5 oz) - 15mL Simple Syrup (0.5 oz) - 60mL Grapefruit Soda (2 oz) - 3-4 Mint Leaves - OR try it with 'housemade' grapefruit soda - grapefruit juice + soda + simple METHOD 1.
