Ingredients

  • ●1 lb ground beef
  • ●1/2 lb shredded cheddar cheese
  • ●1/2 lb shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • ●4 large flour tortillas
  • ●1 cup refried beans
  • ●1/2 cup salsa
  • ●1/4 cup sour cream
  • ●1 tsp garlic powder
  • ●1 tsp onion powder
  • ●1/2 tsp cumin
  • ●1/2 tsp chili powder
  • ●1/2 tsp salt
  • ●1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. 2Add garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper to the beef. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  3. 3Warm the flour tortillas in a microwave or on a skillet until pliable.
  4. 4Spread 1/4 cup of refried beans on each tortilla.
  5. 5Layer 1/4 of the cooked beef mixture on top of the beans.
  6. 6Sprinkle 1/4 of the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese on top of the beef.
  7. 7Drizzle 1 tablespoon of salsa and a dollop of sour cream on each tortilla.
  8. 8Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly to form a burrito.
  9. 9Repeat the process for the remaining tortillas and filling.
  10. 10Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  11. 11Place the burritos seam-side down in a baking dish. Top with remaining salsa and cheese.
  12. 12Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
