A Summer Smash! || Strawberry Lime Whiskey Smash Cocktail Recipe

A Summer Smash! Combining lime and strawberry for a really nice, summer cocktail, this is a refreshing drink that you have to try! The key to balancing the recipe is to use a really good quality strawberry syrup to get a nice flavour as well to add enough sweetness to cut across the sharp citrus oils you will get from the lime peel. You can make your own syrup, or like me, use a real fruit syrup like this one from Drink Botanicals, but just don't use those sugar syrups with artificial flavours as it won't have the same rich, natural taste! You don't have to double strain your cocktail, but I like the nice, clean presentation of it this way.
