Preheat oven to 375F. Grease a 9x9 dish. 2. In an even layer, add the steel cut oats, apple and walnuts to the baking dish. Set aside. 3. Add the rest of the ingredients in a 4 cup measuring cup or bowl, give everything a good mix. Then pour over the steel cut oats, apple and walnuts. 4. Using a fork or a whisk, ensure the liquid gets to the bottom of the baking dish. 5. Bake covered with foil for first 30 min, then remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 30 min or so. You want the milk and egg custard to be set. 6. Eat your Baked Apple Steel Cut Oats warm with additional milk or yogurt. Add nut butter and fruit if you wish. 7.
