You can heat it up in the microwave before serving or you can also enjoy it cold! This recipe is gluten-free, dairy-free & high-protein! These baked oats are a perfect breakfast idea for the holiday season!πŸŽ„ The Christmassy combination of chocolate and orange is just so delicious! Such an easy and yummy breakfast idea!πŸ˜‹ This recipe makes about 6-7 servings Ingredients: 3 eggs 1/2 cup peanut butter (120 ml) 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey (or more if you want to make it sweeter) (60 ml) zest of 1 orange 1 cup gluten-free oats or buckwheat flakes (240 ml) 1/2 cup vegan chocolate protein powder (120 ml) 1/3 cup cacao powder, to taste (80 ml) 1 tablespoon baking powder 2 cups almond milk (480 ml) optional: 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (60 ml) (I used 80% dark chocolate) 1. Mix the eggs, peanut butter, maple syrup and orange zest together 2. Add the oats, protein powder, cacao powder, baking powder and almond milk and carefully stir until combined 3. Add the chocolate chips on top 4. Bake at 180 Celsius degrees / 350 in Fahrenheit for about 25-35 minutes 5. Cut into pieces and enjoy! 6. Store in the fridge!
