  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. 1In a bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  2. 2In another bowl, beat the eggs until well mixed.
  3. 3Dip each shrimp into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off.
  4. 4Coat the shrimp in the flour mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
  5. 5Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
  6. 6Once the oil is hot, carefully add the coated shrimp in batches, avoiding overcrowding.
  7. 7Fry the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. 8Remove the shrimp from the oil and drain on paper towels.
