Healthy Ginger Ale Recipe Righto guys, today I bring you something slightly different! Normally, it's always food, but I thought I'd start doing a drink a week. So yeah, a brand new recipe for a new drink every week—unless I run out of ideas, of course. Here is my healthy ginger ale recipe. It's non-alcoholic, so the kids can enjoy it too. Plus, it’s not full of sugar like the ones you buy in the shop, making it a lot healthier for you. Watch the video to learn more, and you'll find the recipe in the description. Enjoy! Healthy Ginger Ale Recipe Ingredients: - ½ cup of lemon juice - 2 cups of water - 1 to 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup - 2 cups of sparkling water - 6 to 8 inches of fresh ginger, finely sliced Method: 1. Slice the Ginger - Start by slicing up your fresh ginger. There's no need to peel it; simply slice it into thin pieces. 2. Boil the Ginger - Get a small pan and add 2 cups of water along with the sliced ginger. - Bring the water to a boil. Once it reaches a boil, turn the heat down, cover with a lid, and let it simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. The longer it simmers, the more flavourful your ginger ale will be. 3. Steep the Ginger - After simmering, turn off the heat but keep the lid on the pan. - Let the ginger steep in the hot water for at least an hour. This allows the flavours to fully infuse. 4. Strain the Ginger - After the ginger has steeped, strain out the ginger pieces. You can reuse the ginger in another recipe or discard it. 5. Mix the Ingredients - Add the lemon juice to the ginger-infused water. If you prefer a tangier drink, you can add a bit more lemon juice. - Add the pure maple syrup. Adjust the amount based on how sweet you want your ginger ale. 6. Add the Sparkling Water - Pour in the 2 cups of sparkling water. Give everything a really good stir to combine. 7. Serve and Enjoy - Your healthy ginger ale is now ready to enjoy. It's great for your gut, free from the excess sugars found in store-bought ginger ales, and it's quick and easy to make. #healthygingeralerecipe #howtomakegingerale #gingeralerecipe
