Video Description

Hi friends! In this video you learn how to prepare this typical Spanish dish: FIDEUA. Fideua is a dish very similar to paella, the main difference is that it is prepared with noodles instead of rice, so it is prepared in less time. As I told you with the paella, the secret is in the broth. I will use a monkfish tail and some prawns, but you already know that you can use the fish or shellfish that you like the most. I hope you like it! It's delicious!! Recipe: 1/2 onion 1 tomato 2 cloves of garlic 1 tbsp of paprika a few strands of saffron 2 dried red bell pepper 150-200ml broth per 100 gr of pasta 100 gr of pasta per person monkfish tail and 4 prawns To make this recipe for more people, modify only the last 3 ingredients Boil water and put the 2 peppers to soak. Wash the monkfish and separate the loins. Cut into pieces. Put the broth in a saucepan and add the monkfish spine and some saffron threads. Cook for about 10 minutes. Chop the onion and garlic. In a pan add a good amount of olive oil. Cook the prawns, over high heat, one minute for each side. Remove from the pan. Add the monkfish and brown a little for a few minutes and remove. In this same oil add the onion and garlic. Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes. While grate the tomato and remove the skin from the peppers that have been soaked. Add the grated tomato and pepper to the pan and mix well. Let it cook for another 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and add the paprika. Mix well and add the pasta, stir well. Add the fish and the broth, cook for a few minutes and place the prawns on top. Let it cook until the pasta is done, the time will depend on the thickness of the pasta you have chosen. When it's ready let it rest 5 minutes and enjoy!!
