Video Description

Today we are celebrating former First Lady Michelle Obama’s birthday. She was born today on January 17, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois. Today in the kitchen we made her award winning chocolate chip cookie recipe that she submitted for the 2012 Bake Off against her contender Anne Romney. It was said that whoever won this bake off sponsored by Family Circle Magazine would be an indication of who would be going to the White House. Michelle Obama won that year and her husband, Barack Obama, became our 44th US President. (When doing the video today…I said Mrs Obama was born in 1969 and I made a oopsie. I’m not perfect 🤣) For the recipe please go to https://thehistoricalhomemaker.com/2023/01/17/happy-birthday-michelle-obama-🇺🇸/
