Oil free cornflakes namkeen makes for a very healthy tea time snack recipe as its loaded with goodness of puffed rice, fox nuts & cornflakes. At the same time its oil free so can be given to toddles & littles ones too. Healthy Eating! Ingredients: 1 cup Puffed Rice, murmura 3/4 cup Fox Nuts, makhane 1/2 cup Cornflakes 1/2 cup Peanuts 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp Salt Method: Heat a pan and dry roast the puffed rice on a medium flame for 4-5 minutes & keep stirring continuously. Once they turn slightly brown, remove from pan & keep it aside. Now in the same pan dry roast the fox nuts on a low flame for 7-8 minutes & keep stirring it continuously. Remove from the pan & keep it aside. Similarly dry roast the cornflakes for 2-3 minutes on low flame & keep it aside once done. Dry roast the peanuts till the peanut turns reddish brown. Now in big mixing bowl, add dry roasted puffed rice, dry roasted fox nuts, dry roasted peanuts, dry roasted cornflakes, turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala & mix them well. Once it has cooled down completely, transfer the oil free cornflakes namkeen into an air-tight container.
