Talofa lava and Welcome back to another episode of our favour Sunday cooking vlogs here in Samoa. Today we're doing something different, we are going to do all our cooking on the umu. This means no gas and no pots. Just a simple old fashioned and traditional umu. On our umu today are small fishes which make into afΔ«, povi masima in which we foil and place on the umu, taro, Luau or palusami and our size 2. In addition we also did a oka using the fish asiasi. During the episode we take you to the unveiling of one of my wife's family relatives tombstone, a tradition here in Samoa for the graves of our loved ones.
