Video Description

"Artisan is the style of the making of traditional handcrafted items with the best ingredients" This episode is about Artisan Style Cooking - Any ingredients you choose will be the right choice - Recipe : Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 4 x 8 inch Artisan Tuscan Flatbread (I like Trader Joes) Mozzarella Cheese, White Cheddar, Jack, Parmigiano, etc. Pizza, Marinara, Arrabbiata or other sauce, red or white Toppings of any type, like eggplant, mushrooms, onions and sausage, pepperoni, pasta, whatever you think you would like on it. What I like to do to keep the flatbread crispy, is to put a layer of cheese down on the flatbread first so the sauce doesn’t saturate the flatbread. Then add the sauce of your choice, then more cheese or simply top with the veggies and meats. One of my favorites is Mozzarella, Arrabbiata sauce, onions, mushrooms, sausage and some cooked Rigatoni. Sprinkle with sharp cheddar, Parmigiano and fresh basil, then bake at 400 until cheese is bubbly and all the toppings are hot around 8-10 minutes. Pull out of the oven and cool for a few minutes before serving. Great for the whole family, parties or a late night snack that’s quick and delicious! Kids will love it, since they can join in on the creation of their very own pizza with the toppings they want, my grandkids love cooked spiral multicolored pasta on top of lots of cheese and pepperoni! The beauty of this type of recipe is what I love – more toppings, not a bunch of dough, and a delicious crispy crust! It is so fast and delicious and you can please everyone’s palette by letting everyone choose the toppings that they like.
